![]() ![]() Pedro Pascal is the well-known Chilean actor who has held a number of significant roles in recent years, most notable as the titular character of The Mandalorian on Disney+ (though you’d be forgiven for not realising it, with the helmet and all) as well as starring roles in Narcos and the fourth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. He is tasked by Marlene, the leader of the Fireflies resistance group, with escorting Ellie across the United States from Boston, where the story begins. Joel is a survivor in the post-apocalypse, who undergoes significant emotional turmoil after losing his teenage daughter at the beginning of the outbreak. I would only recommend it if you get it when it's free like I did.Pedro Pascal plays Joel Miller, one of the two central protagonists of The Last of Us. I don't think the ending is good enough to justify how many boring and mediocre scenes it takes to get there. Overall, I would say it's a below-average game that I wouldn't recommend paying $20 for. It saved me a lot of time while I was replaying to get achievements. One aspect I will applaud, that a lot of cutscene-heavy games I've played don't have, is the ability to skip cutscenes. The fact that the characters can't run kills me a little bit and makes the game feel so slow, especially while going back and trying to get missed achievements. ![]() I actually felt interested in the story at that point, but I wasn't for the majority of chapters 1 and 2. Chapter three was actually pretty good and especially had some cool scenes with Alyson at the beginning. ![]() I am also the type of player to try to explore all my surroundings in a game, but there was so much to look at that I feel like didn't matter at all and just felt like a waste of time. I love Life is Strange, and that game often had me questioning the choices I made in a very enjoyable way, but with this game I felt my choices had pretty bland consequences and didn't matter very much. There were some really cool scenes, and chapter three was honestly pretty good and enjoyable, but it doesn't make up for how pretty bad and boring this game is. ![]()
